Lukas Edward Hummelman was born on October 15, 2008 @ 2:06 am after 5 minutes of pushing. I was induced and within the first half hour the contractions started and didn't stop. So that means 11:30am on the 14th until he was born. My water didn't break until 2 am though so i guess thats when people start counting actually labour. We definately weren't expecting to see a little boy when he came so it was quite the surprise for Jake and I. Jake was overwhelmed with the idea of having a little boy.
We couldn't have been luckier with Madison either. She is doing great and so excited to have a little brother. She doesn't understand how careful to be around Lukas, but keeps going back for more.
I'll keep everyone updated as time goes on though, but for now, Jake, Madison and I are just enjoying this addition to our family and the changes that come with him.

Just got back from Maui this morning waiting to hear news of the arrival of your little one. Congratulations on the birth of your Son! Yeah for 5 minutes of pushing! Lukas was born on our wedding anniversary so we will definately be able to remember his birthday. Looking forward to meeting him.
