Into the New Year

Well, this is Madison with our neighbor/oma(from mom and dad langes house) She is one hundred years older than Madison, so I thought it would be a cool picture to keep for Madison, since they are basically family to us and not many people make it to that age in life.

Jacob, once again, was our entertainment on Christmas day. He doesn't seem to fail.
Madison in a dress that has been through my moms side of the family. All the female cousins and they're children, my sisters and I and now Madison.
Well, its amazing how time flys by and how big Madison is. It amazes me how quickly she is growing. Everyone has always said 'they grow so quickly, treasure the time you have' (Roger, i thought of you when i just wrote that.) We have treasured the time, but she's still growing up too quickly. I weighed Madison again today and she is now 12pounds 2 ounces. So almost double her birth weight. She is trying to talk to us for the last few weeks and is developing strengthwise and in her alertness to the things around her. She might also be teething as she has alot of drool and puts her fists in her mouth all the time. (Jenn and Aarons little one, Katie, I believe did the same thing before two teeth came out) So even though it seems early, I think our girl is catching up to all the other 12 kids that preceded her this year in our church.
Other than that, our house is coming together the upstairs is all basically done, except for pictures that need to be put up and a touch up paint job i've been procrastinating on of the floor boards. Jake still needs to clean up his basement and then we can start working on all the landscaping changes we have planned. Since the weather is nicer, one of these weekends im gonna make sure we tear out a couple of trees out that are blocking our entrance. Thats the fun part. Replanting them, someone else can do. Anyways, that was just a quick catch up for those people that have been noticing our delay in writing, so now that i've figured this thing out, i won't always leave it in jakes hands. I'll be the one adding pictures, even if i don't write anything.

Hurray, Angelika! I'm glad I don't have to depend only on Jake now; I can still remember him telling me 'it's easy to update your blog everyday...' ha ha.
